Project Cereal-Box Bag

Project Cereal-Box Bag (Project CBB) is an initiative I began on 15 September 2009 to raise funds for HighPoint Community Services Association (HCSA).

Project CBB has 2 main objectives:

1) To raise funds for HighPoint Community Services Association (HCSA) to support the charity work that they do; making a difference in the lives of ex-offenders and their families.

2) To help preserve our environment and protect our earth by re-using empty cereal boxes.

The Deal:
Collect empty cereal boxes, make them into paper bags, then sell them to raise funds for HCSA.

@ 15 Sep 09 to 17 Jan 2010 – Collection of empty cereal boxes.
@ 24/ 25/ 26 Nov – Workshop for facilitators. (To guide others in making the bags on 28 Nov/ 19 Dec.)
@ 28 Nov, Sat – Mass CBB-making Day Part 1.

@ 19 Dec, Sat – Mass CBB-making Day Part 2.

@ First half of 2010 – Bazaar and word-of-mouth sales of CBBs & t-shirts by volunteers. (More details will be out later.)
@ 15, 16 Mar (Mon/Tue) – Bazaar sales at NUS Photographic Society bazaar, 10am – 5pm.
@ 22, 23 Mar (Mon/Tue) – Bazaar sales at NUS Arts-NUSSU Welfare Carnival bazaar, 10am – 5pm.

3. TELL your friends – Spread the word, join the Facebook Group, get a t-shirt! We need all the awareness and help we can get! :))
